Eddie's Lil' Homies is here to motivate and inspire literacy and learning in children.
When Eddie Betts entered the Australian Football League (AFL) at 17 years of age, he was unable to read or write and knows the challenges and disadvantage this can cause young people.
Ed’s series of educational books (yep, there's more coming!) aims to help kids read with confidence and enjoyment and give them the chance to express their own personality into the story.
We believe the medium of rapping makes reading fun and memorable. By reading aloud to beats Eddie’s Lil’ Homies aims to grow a tribe of lifelong readers and give those kids who aren’t ‘big on reading’ the chance to thrive in literacy!
